27-inch R1500 capacitive touchscreen, Full HD and multi-touch, with surrounding lighting. Arabic and English journeys are configured in the host application.
Document capture at the terminal
KR530 scanner combines visible, infrared and ultraviolet imaging with MRZ/OCR and supported ePassport reading. Test local document families before rollout.
An integration-ready PC platform
Intel Core i3-1315UE, 8 GB DDR5 and 512 GB SSD, with USB and serial connections. Application, host APIs and monitoring are scoped per deployment.
From a pilot to a working service
We do not stop at a working screen. We test the journey.
Prove the complete card journey with the actual host and card stock: authorization, personalization, delivery confirmation and exception handling. Never issue a second card after an uncertain first result.
Test representative local IDs and passports, Arabic and English names, consent, session timeout and staff escalation. Agree access controls, retention and secure removal of customer data.
Validate reach, floor space, power, regional network compatibility and service access. Test empty bins, jams, lost connectivity and power recovery before accepting the installation.
A configurable card-issuance terminal, not a cash ATM. The supplied specification does not establish PCI, EMV, CEN/XFS, biometric liveness or national-ID approval. Card formats, encoding, issuer authorization, local document support and software integration must be qualified for the project. Dimensions, card capacity per bin and throughput require confirmation.
Before you decide
Questions worth asking before you order
Does the kiosk issue bank cards immediately after installation?
No. Issuer integration, card personalization, encoding, key management and security approval must be specified and tested. Component specifications are not approval for an entire issuing system.
Does it support Egyptian IDs and Gulf passports?
The specification lists ICAO travel-document capture and supported chip reading. Every intended local document revision must be tested with approved samples before coverage is confirmed. Universal ID support is not assumed.
Can it hold 24 different card types?
Yes. Each of the 24 independent hoppers can be allocated to a different compatible card stock or design. Media, dimensions, thickness, printing, encoding and application routing need qualification. This describes stock variety, not untested compatibility with every card.
Do 24 hoppers mean a capacity of 24 cards?
No. This is the number of dispensing hoppers, not total card capacity. Multiple hoppers can be assigned the same compatible stock instead of 24 different types. Per-hopper capacity requires confirmation and is not stated in the supplied workbook.
Can it work in Arabic and English, and connect to ARKASH?
Interface languages, fields and service steps are configured in the host application. We test Arabic and English journeys and any proposed ARKASH or host connection against agreed interfaces; ready-made integration is not assumed.
What happens when cards run out or connectivity fails?
The card module lists low/empty and position sensors. The application must define when to stop issuing, how to alert staff and how to reconcile uncertain requests without issuing duplicate cards.
